Safety Center & SOS

Support when you need it most

Every Itinera Journey includes built-in safety tools designed to help you feel supported away from home. From local emergency information to Trusted Contacts and emergency assistance, help is never far away.

  • Emergency help, right from your Journey

    Quickly activate SOS when you need urgent assistance. Itinera can alert your support team and begin the emergency response process.

  • Local help, already ready

    When your Journey begins, important local emergency information is available for your destination, including emergency numbers and nearby emergency care when available.

  • Your trusted people, included

    Add up to three Trusted Contacts and choose one as your Primary Contact so the people you trust can be part of your emergency plan.

  • You stay in control

    You decide whether Itinera may contact your Primary Trusted Contact if we're unable to reach you during an emergency.

  • Location sharing is your choice

    You separately choose whether your location may be shared with your Trusted Contact during an eligible emergency. It is never automatically included just because someone is your emergency contact.

  • We check in

    If an emergency is reported, Itinera can check on you and continue trying to reach you. If you're unresponsive, the situation can be escalated for human assistance.

  • Live means live

    When location information is available, Itinera distinguishes between your current reported location and an older last-known location so outdated information isn't presented as current.

  • Built for travel

    SOS reports can be preserved when connectivity is interrupted and delivered once a connection becomes available.

You're always in control. Adding a Trusted Contact does not automatically give anyone access to your location. Emergency outreach and location sharing are permissions you choose separately.

Because feeling prepared shouldn't be an upgrade.

Planning fees

Travel costs are separate. Your planning fee covers your selected Itinera service and planning experience. Flights, accommodations, transportation, dining, activities, and other travel expenses are not included in the planning fee.
